Personal Story:
I chat online with the designer of this figure, Anna Pulchalski occasionally. She's extremely nice and a great person whom I had asked about sculpting and designing information. I made a quick comment about reviewing some of her figures and she was willing to send them to me so that was cool. Thanks Anna! :)

Introduction:
This is a Qee figure from the Designer Collection Series 4. These were Qee figures designed by various artists who contributed their ideas and designs to Toy2R. They don't design the figures itself but rather the designs on the figures.

Sculpt:
This is a what Toy2R calls a KitCatQ body. It looks a lot like the be@rbricks that Medicom makes except it uses a cat's head. The body is fairly basic so there's not much to talk about.

There was a lot of stuff included with this figure just like with the Angel Bear from Series 3. There's the trademark Qee keychain, a stand, a pin and card with artwork by the designer and a catalog of all the figures in the series. Good stuff. I doubt anyone would actually use the stand but it's a good accessory if you need it.

Paint:
The paint job is what I'll be reviewing since the design is what this figure is all about. The design is pretty cool. What we have here is a kitty with a psycho grin and crazy eyes. It's pretty unique and fun to look at. I've seen similar designs before but this one was quite different since it combined a bunch of styles into this one figure. It also has tiger stripes and a tail that was illustrated on it's back. Good details. There's also a small amount of blue paint airbrushed on the tips of the "fingers".

The overall paint job is fairly clean and the mix between the airbrush around the right eye and the sharp swirl on the left eye was well executed. The teeth was also well done since the lines were sharp and clear. While I'm not a fan of the blue skin tone, it works well with the overall design. The only noticeable problem was that the tiger stripes around the sides weren't as sharp as I liked. They look a bit blurry around the edges but I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. There's also some minor blurriness around the feet area but it's not a big deal.

Overall: B
This is a cool figure if you're into Qees or psycho kitties. It's a fun figure to display and looks good next to any other crazy critters you have around. I would've liked a different color for the skin.

Where can I find this?
It's not a new figure so it's a bit hard to find but I bet if you look hard enough, you'll see it pop up in some online import stores that carry these types of figures.
