Personal
Story:
I was offered this figure from Shockertoys
after I requested something to review from them. I'm not a huge fan
of these types of figures but it was different so I'm happy they sent
me some samples to review. Thanks Geoff! |

Introduction:
This is a Custom Shockini figure. This particular version was
given away at conventions and to fellow toy reviewers. It was not
available for sale from what I know. |

Sculpt:
There isn't a lot to mention from the way it looks. But the
sculpt is actually pretty good. Since these were made to be customized,
a lot of details were left out to the collector or customizer. Like
I said, I'm not a big fan of these types of robot-style figures
but the articulation is pretty well done. You can swivel the parts
around and it has a nice variety of movement. I really like the
tightness of the joints. It gives it a sense of weight and value.
I can't help but compare this figure to Art Asylum's Minimates or
those weird Stikfa figures. It's simple but it's unique. It also
came with a simple stand.

Paint:
None. Well, it uses a plain white color. This was made to be
painted over so there's nothing for me to review here.

Overall:

This is not a kind of figure I'm interested in but I've seen plenty
of awesome customs that were made with these Shockinis. I'm sure if
you like these types of block figures or if you like customizing figures,
then this would be a great figure to check out. It's definitely fun
to play with. |

Where
can I find this?
I was told by Shockertoys that this particular figure isn't
made anymore so you won't find it anywhere. Check out their site
for the new versions.
