Personal Story:
I knew about the figure and I had to get it. But it was pretty hard to find at first. When it became easier and easier to find, I bought one for its retail price at an online import store. The store messed up and sent one with the box already opened. It wasn't a big deal since the plastic bag wasn't opened but I managed to get back a few bucks out of it because they screwed up. :) I could've gotten the full set but I didn't have any interest in the other bounty hunters in the series.

Introduction:
This is a Kubrick figure based on the character Boba Fett from the movie, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. It depicts Boba Fett in all his glory. The figure was part of Medicom's series based on the original bounty hunters seen in the film. He's the most common figure among this series. Also, I'd like to point out that Tomy is also featured on the packaging but I have no idea what their involvement was so I didn't give them credit as the manufacturer.

Sculpt:
Wow, nice figure. It's about time Medicom worked on this figure. There was actually a bootleg version of this figure that was released a few years ago that closely resembles this official one. Hmmm...anyways, it's great. They've captured the look of Boba really well. The helmet is excellent. They even allow you to rotate the targeting thingy down. Whoa. The torso is every bit as impressive as the helmet. They sculpted the cape, chain and the chestplate to near perfection. And we can't forget the legs where they sculpted every part of his armor down to the smallest details. Even with all the armor, he's quite playable which is a good thing. His rocket pack is really cool. You can separate the missile to mimic him firing it AND the little exhaust pips can be rotated too. Wow again. The guns are also incredible. They recreated both his blaster and his little pistol accurately. Neat.

The only down side is that Boba is faceless. Yup, just like the Lego version, Boba has no face here too. It would've been nice if they gave him a generic face at least. We get a white blank head. Oh well. Other than that, this is one ultra-detailed Kubrick.

Paint:
The paint job is awesome. The colors are exactly what we saw in the movies. Instead of simply painting all the standard colors on this figure, Medicom recreated all the little bits of battle damage and dirt that the real Boba had. I've never seen such a detailed paint job on a Kubrick figure before. All the scrapes and dents have been painted in! The paint on the guns are every bit as detailed as the figure. Very very impressive. Great job Medicom.

Overall: A+
Superb. One of the most detailed Kubricks ever. Medicom did a fantastic job here. The figure is full of life and full of fun. Boba Fett has been fully realized in Kubrick form and this Kubrick comes close to my love of the Jin-Roh figure. :) If you like Kubricks or Boba Fett, then this is a no-brainer. Get this now!

Where can I find this?
This figure is pretty easy to find if you know where to look. Many online import stores and places like Ebay have him available (as of this review). This is mainly because he's the most common figure in the series. Have fun.

Other Images:

The box. It's larger than the standard Kubrick boxes even though the figure is the same size as the rest. Maybe this was done because the case only holds 12 figures rather than the standard 24. Boring design with cluttered text...

Woot! His targeting thingy can be rotated! Look at the details with the paint job.

The guns with the detached rocket from his rocket pack. Nice sculpts.

The back. The rocket pack rules.
