Personal
Story:
This was the first Kubrick I had ever bought. I got this from an online
import store for its retail value. I thought it was a great deal.
I remember buying this figure just because I loved the anime. I wasn't
really a fan of Kubricks at the time. As soon as I bought this figure,
it was sold out a few days later so I'm glad I got it. |

Introduction:
This is a Kubrick figure based on the character Fuse of the anime,
Jin-Roh. This was originally made for the Medicom Toy Collector's
Club only. But it was sold for a limited time in some online stores
later on. This is the second version. The first
version was based on the live-action movie. |

Sculpt:
This is one of the best Kubrick figures Medicom ever made. Everything
is very accurate. It's as close to the movie as one can get without
it looking goofy. The helmet, mask, chestplate, shoulder pads, everything
is very detailed. I was actually suprised at how well they captured
the look of the Panzer armor in Kubrick form. They even sculpted
the little bullets on the armor and the grooves in the kneepads
and boots. Nice details. The gun is also very cool. It's as detailed
as the figure itself. In fact, the gun has a lot more details than
the guns seen in the Special Forces series. Even the backpack is
done right with the small antennas and battery compartments. A nice
bonus is that you can take off the helmet and mask to reveal Fuse's
face. All you need to do is snap on his hair and voila, instant
Fuse Kubrick! Very cool.
The
only problem I had with this figure is the articulation. It's limited
in movement mainly because of all the armor pieces on the shoulders
and the hips. You can't really move it around like you can with
other Kubrick figures. Nonetheless, it's a very nice looking figure.

Paint:
There isn't a lot of paint on the figure but it's very well done.
The red on the goggles and the gold on the bullets (on the torso)
are just right. The silver on the gun is a nice touch and the handle
is painted with a tan color. I'm glad Medicom didn't give us a generic
black color for the weapon. The blue on the backpack is nothing special
but it's nice to see they didn't leave that black either. Clean and
simple. |

Overall:
A+
One of the best Kubricks ever made. If you're a fan of the anime
or if you're into cool looking armored characters in general, than
this is well worth getting. It's still one of my all-time fave Kubricks
ever. :) |

Where
can I find this?
This is very hard to find now. The only places you'll find it
is on Ebay or some other auction sites. |

The box. I really like the illustration here. It's much more detailed
and better looking than their usual Kubrick box art.
