Personal Story:
I got all four figures for a really low price on Ebay. It was a good deal.

Introduction:
This Kubrick set is based on on the Special Forces guys. Sixth in the series. This is one of the most popular Kubrick series from Medicom mainly because of their limited production and the fact that they sometimes come with very rare and hidden figures which makes collectors drool. There are always five common figures, one "Impossible to Find" figure and an unknown amount of hidden figures. The figures I have are (pictured left to right), SAS Winter (B), SAS Winter (A), Spetsnaz and GSG-9.

Sculpt:
I'm going to review these as a set rather than focus on their individual traits. Medicom moved away from that horrid Enemy's Posse set and returned to what made the Special Force series great. Special Force guys! Thank the lord. Anyways, the sculpt is still pretty simple compared to the forth set. This set looks like a combination of the forth and fifth set in terms of the sculpt. They're okay. The real change are the accessories. The ski gear for the SAS Winter (B) figure is nice but he doesn't come with a gun! The Spetsnaz is my favorite because he comes with a cool gas mask ANd a beret so you can switch anytime you want. The GSG-9 figure is a great figure that should've been included with the forth set instead. The guns are all just as detailed as the forth set. This set is a mixed bag in the sculpt department. It doesn't look like there's anything really improved here over the previous sets.

Paint:
The paint job is okay. The first two common figures are white so there's nothing really there to analyze. It's a clean white I guess. The other two figures with the camo look good but there's nothing really special about them. I like how SAS Winter (A)'s gun has been painted white and the Spetsnaz's gun has been faithfully painted with the wood colors which is accurate to their real life counterparts. The same great details the forth set had. But overall, it's a mixed bag in this department too.

Overall: B-
A good set. It seems Medicom tried to get some of the details from the forth set here while trying to keep the style of the fifth set. There's good details on one end but it's painfully simple on the other end. I'm really confused with this set and what Medicom was trying to do. It's a step above the previous set but it's a little mediocre when you look back on the third and forth sets in the series. An okay set.

Where can I find this?
This is a fairly new set as of this review so you can find these pretty easily on both Ebay and in some import sites. Look around and you'll find it. The easiest set to find so far.

The box. White and gray. Pretty dull...
