Saori has a really bubbly personality judging from the images
here. Unlike most photobooks where girls try to look sensual or
sexy cute, Saori aims for being goofy and fun in this book. I was
actually a bit surprised at how goofy she was in the book. There
are plenty of shots of her being sexy and cute, but the goofy shots
are in there as well. Saori looks like she's having a lot of fun
and I kinda like that. When she's laughing in the shots, I think
she looks okay. The real gems are the shots where she's pouting
her lips and looking straight into the camera. She is ultra adorable
in those shots.
The
photographer has some nice shots of Saori but there's nothing truly
unique or daring about most of them. Most of them seem fairly standard
for these photobooks. Some of it seems plain. There are the usual
up-close shots of her head as well as some traditional "lying
down" shots. A lot of the poses feel like they were taken from
many previous photobooks and anime pinups. Some people might like
that. I thought they were okay. I wish the photographer took
advantage of Saori's boobs and made more use of them. That's what
most people want to see when they buy this book anyways. I was slightly
disappointed by that. There isn't any nudity of any kind which is
also disappointing. I would've loved to see her in all her naked
glory. When I saw some shots of her being posed with a toddler,
I knew I wouldn't see any nude shots. Bummer.
The
majority of the book showcases Saori in various outfits. They range
from schoolgirl uniforms to bikinis to some unusual outfits like
an angel costume (seen in the cover). There are also some shots
of her in school gym clothes and a couple of shots of her taking
a bubble bath which I think are really cute shots of her. The angel
costume I mentioned is quite creative even though I've seen other
versions of it before. Basically, Saori has feathers pasted onto
her privates to hide her naughty bits. It looks really cool on her
since she has those huge breasts. Very sexy.
The
location shoots involve a wide variety of destinations. There are
some shots in a school (classroom and gym), swimming pool, bathtub,
a regular street and a natural outdoor setting. There are also some
indoor shots involving a bed and some set pieces.
The
photobook's layout is good. All the images are in full color glossy
paper. There are a couple of pages in the middle where they interview
Saori and include personal photos of her. At the end of the book,
there's a DVD included that's titled "Memorial DVD" which
I haven't viewed yet. I'm sure it's behind-the-scenes stuff and
it's a nice bonus. There is also an offer for autographed clothes
from Saori which I thought was interesting.
